Financial Liability and Deadlines
SUNY Policy
When you register, you assume responsibility for paying all tuition and fees associated with your registration. You must pay even if you did not attend a single class unless you have dropped or resigned your courses according to the published deadlines.
Here are the financial liability deadlines for dropping/resigning courses and the corresponding amount you must pay:
- Summer 2009
- Fall 2008
- Spring 2009
Note: If you have received Title IV financial aid (Pell, Perkins, SEOG, Direct Loans) for the semester you resign, you should examine the "Policy Statement for the Adjustment of Financial Aid Due to Discontinuance of Study."
Deletion of Tuition Charges for Courses Already Resigned
Students may request that charges be deleted for a semester based on certain extraordinary circumstances. Contact the Student Response Center at 232 Capen Hall or (716) 645-2450 for the policy and procedures.
